Kuhokini Birratri is a story about the bad activists under the disguise of religion. The tantra and its description is also widely seen in every layer of the story. The story shows the meeting of statistics professor Ajay Dutta Chowdhury and tantrik Madan Baba. Ajay also meets swarnali at Madan Baba's place. But the identity of Swarnali remains a mystry in the whole story. Bagala, an avatar of Maa Kali is shown here in some miraculous ways. Co-incidentally, the demon of Bagala is also named Madan. The series of some mystic incidents make Ajay closely mad and he is forced to go to a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist narrates whole story to the audience.
