Marer Sagor pari Debo is an Ashokenagar Nattyamukh production which was made during the second strictly restricted lock-down period in 2021. The duration of this production is around 45 minutes. In this time period, 25 members of the repertory of Ashokenagar Nattyamukh tries to find the source of the four plays written by Rabindranath Tagore ― ‛Raktokarabi’, ‛Muktodhara’, ‛Raja’ and ‛Taser Desh’. This production is basically a research on Tagore and his plays and the song of those plays. Being made in a captivated way, Marer Sagor Pari Debo invites everyone to be free, to enjoy independence. And it also tries to find the root of the evergreen plays of Tagore.
